In a primetime showdown, signal-caller Brock Purdy turned in a historic performance, throwing a career-best five touchdown passes to propel his team to a commanding forty-eight to twenty-seven triumph. The winning effort was capped off by a crucial 74-yard interception return for a score.

Offensive Fireworks Lead the Way

His key weapons included standout running back Christian McCaffrey, who gained 117 yards on 21 carries and also hauled in six passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end George Kittle also had a big night, making seven receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Postseason Picture Coming into Focus

With this win, the winning side continued their winning streak to five straight games, solidifying their position in the race for a top playoff seed. This victory also ended a lengthy losing skid against this specific rival.

The opposing quarterback, in his second start after a long hiatus, put up a valiant fight, passing for 277 yards and two touchdowns. However, a late turnover taken to the house ultimately decided the game.
